Avon Police Chief Mark Rinaldo Hiding Criminal Records of Police Officers

Avon Police Department Chief Mark Rinaldo tried to hire his own son (Tim Rinaldo) to become a cop! Nepotism rules from the Town’s Charter blocked him. The cost for the taxpayers: $3000. Hired 3 of his son best friends instead, who went to the same Catholic School in Connecticut and graduated from the same 2001 class. All of them were White-Male-Catholics and two of them had a criminal record. Chief Rinaldo disregarded the rights of minorities who scored higher and were better fit than his son and friends. Seen here at the Freedom of Information Commission while arguing to keep secret the criminal records of two of his police officers: Dery and Cuscovitch (seen on the back of video). Chief Rinaldo’s attorney is hiding Chief Rinaldo’s face after being overruled in a request to stop the audio and video recording. Chief Rinaldo should have known that the hearings with the FIC are PUBLIC! See the report at home.comcast.net
